EverFlow

EverFlow is a Process Mining start-up mainly based in Campinas (SP, Brazil) with a co-HQ in San Francisco, a spin-off of Icaro Tech’s EverFlow product. One of the solution’s strengths is its simple and intuitive design that helps non-expert users gain quick process insights. Besides pre-configured dashboards for poor performance, bottlenecks and rework, EverFlow is suitable for operational support with its case duration prediction and alert monitoring features. Social networks can be discovered and a Root Cause Analysis is available as well. The tool leverages cutting-edge technologies in Big Data and Machine Learning / AI to provide the ability to analyze huge volumes of events. Customer installations have been carried out in various fields such as real estate, banking, education and telecommunications.

Distinctive Focus and Features

  • Operational support: EverFlow’s operational support functionality helps the user get a prediction about how long open cases will take to complete. Running cases are listed in a table with information such as expected end timestamp, time remaining and time deviation (margin of error). Furthermore, alerts can be specified, monitored and managed by different stakeholders.
  • Big Data suitability: EverFlow is built on top of a big data environment. Events are stored in HDFS (Hadoop) while Spark or Presto is used for data processing. This makes EverFlow capable of handling large volumes of events. According to the vendor, logs with over a billion events and 1TB in size were successfully processed.
  • Enhanced process insights: EverFlow’s clustering feature identifies potential sub-processes of a discovered process. Thus, even for a complex process, cases with similarities can be grouped accordingly for an enhanced process understanding. Another noteworthy functionality is the capability to process unstructured free text columns by visualizing most widely used keywords in a world cloud or bubble chart.
